The Snowy Mountains are located in the south-eastern corner of New South Wales and are easily accessible by car.
From Sydney
An easy drive down the Hume Expressway. Before reaching Yass, turn left for Canberra/Cooma and follow the signs to Cooma. As you enter the township of Cooma you'll find the Best Western Marlborough Motor Inn on the right-hand side of the highway just before you reach the center of town.
From Melbourne
Take the Hume Highway to Albury/Wodonga. You can then leave Wodonga on the Murray Valley Highway for Tallangatta, Corryong and Khancoban. Travelling from Khancoban to Jindabyne over the Alpine Way is a true alpine experience and one of the country's most scenic drives.
